PARISH NURSE

I will be on holiday from 14th July to 4th August and I will not be available for Parish Nursing for the whole month of August. I will therefore be available from 1st September. I hope everyone will have a good Summer, whatever you do.

In future I will not be doing any clinics on a Sunday but will be available if anyone wants to speak to me. Judith Woodbridge.

HOW TO BE MORE EFFECTIVE IN YOUR CHRISTIAN CARE FOR OTHERS
Many of us think we are good at listening. But listening sufficiently well to be able to make a difference to someone is a real skill. So we will run one of the ‘Acorn Christian Foundation’ listening courses here.
This 2-part course ‘Just Listen’ is open to any in our congregation who feel led to attend. It’s on Tuesday 7th July and Tuesday 14th July from 2.30pm to 4.30pm in the Small Hall.
The second part is only relevant if you’ve already been to the first so please ensure that you are available for both dates if you want to come.
We hope to repeat the whole course in the evenings at a later date.

YOUTH CAMP 2009 Year 6 or above?
We are going to Bembridge on the Isle of Wight between 15 - 22 August 2009. We are looking forward to a great week away - with on and off site activities, time with friends, time to relax and time to learn more about God. Speak to Jane Haslam, Neil Sherry or any one of the youth leaders if you are interested and they will let you have some more details. Don't delay though. We need to know if you are going to join us by the end of March.

MEN'S PRAYER BREAKFAST SPRING HARVEST Many thanks to the brave stalwarts who made it to the early morning 'phone-in' for the Spring Harvest booking, and for Denis in hosting it. We did not quite manage to book ALL the accommodation as required, but everyone has a bed. Please would people who asked for anything other than Silver self-catering 4 bed units see Denis or Julia promptly.
